Summer Flowers Holding On.....

As part of my knee therapy, I have to walk each day.  Usually I walk around the block behind our house because there's less traffic.  As I noticed when I opened the door, the wind had really picked up and it was getting cooler.  Leaves were falling and the breeze was taken the remaining flowers for a ride.  I was taken by the contrast of bare limbs with flowers still peaking out for a last fling in the sun.

I know these shots are not the best quality but I had my Iphone with me and I don't seem to be able to get the clear great shots that some others do using their phones.  Maybe I need to work on that.....It seems I always have a goal when I start taking pictures and maybe I need to concentrate on the technical side for a while...

Anyway, it has become clear to me that I am more of a lifestyle photographer in that the pictures I take need to have meaning for me rather it be telling a story or recording my grandchildren.  Of course, I want to always continue improving my skills but I am more interested in capturing a moment in time that is important to me than being concerned that someone is going to critique my work.....

I leave with the shot of the moon as it was rising and I was coming in from my walk with a very sore knee.  I sit here with ice on it comforting the sore muscles that are still not ready to be put to work full time.....

Hugs and blessing to you.....Nanci
